How we label evidence
Every statement in the library carries one of these labels, so you can see how much weight it can bear. Our own advice is always labelled as ours, never presented as an official rule.
- Verified fact
- Checked against the cited source, which states it directly.
- Official regulation
- A rule from the organisation that sets it, as written in the cited document.
- Published guidance
- Recommended by the cited organisation. Guidance, not a rule.
- Research finding
- Reported by the cited study. Check its population and limits before generalising.
- ClubPathway recommendation
- Our practical adaptation of the cited official or elite-club guidance, which it always cites. Not an official rule, and not endorsed by the sources.
- Assumption
- A working assumption we state openly so you can judge it.
- Unverified
- We could not confirm this. Treat it as a lead to check, not as fact.
How content is made
Content is researched and drafted with AI assistance, then checked: every sourced statement must point to a source we opened and found supporting it. Pages marked “Draft” have passed those checks but haven't yet been reviewed by a qualified coach educator.
What ClubPathway is not
We are not affiliated with FIFA, UEFA, AIFF, AFC or any club or tournament organiser. Reading or completing anything here does not award a coaching licence, satisfy a course prerequisite or count as recognised CPD.
